About
The Welcome Coalition Community of Practice brings together people and organisations working to create welcoming communities across the UK. It provides a space to connect, learn and collaborate with others committed to strengthening welcome and belonging.
By connecting with the Research & Learning Group and Policy & Narrative Group, we are developing a stronger understanding of what works, supporting one another to improve practice, and amplifying the collective voice of those working to make welcome a reality in communities across the country.
So far, this growing Community of Practice has focused on connecting key organisations that coordinate multiple Welcome Hubs across the country. In the near future, we hope to expand it to other grassroots groups, charities, community hubs and lived experience networks. Through regular events, peer learning opportunities, practical resources and shared research, members exchange ideas, explore challenges, showcase innovation and build relationships across the sector.
